Do you still have the ebay link?
Are you able to find the "About" screen on your version? _________________ Lutz

This is the HP Navigation pack bundle, also known as TomTom Navigator 2004. You are right, this version is incompatible with CheckPOInt or any othe software based on the TTN SDK.
However this version has a built-in proximity alert for POIs, so you don't need CheckPOInt. _________________ Lutz

Check out the article http://pocketgpsworld.com/tomtom-go-poi.php Although it is for the GO the software functions in exactly the same way.
This should give you enought to get going with. _________________ Mike Barrett |

Thanks MikeB and everyone who has helped so far...
So - do you think that I can get the upgrade/patch to TomTom GO mentioned in the article, and that should work ok on my dad's TT2004?
If so, where can I get the upgrade/patch.....?
many thanks |

You don't need that upgrade (it's only for the GO), the Pocket PC software is already up to date. _________________ Lutz
