I have 2 saved sets of dashcam footage that you can compare with.
The roadworks one has an average speed zone at the start and a variable towards the end.
The other footage has a Redlight camera towards the end that also announces the speed:
** Roadworks Sample **
** Redlight Sample **
They are a tad large but will give an idea of what I'm getting over BT to my headunit.
If you want a specific camera type I have loads in stock. _________________ DashCam:

Change the settings on the app to include the distance and see what it says
Also have it announce your speed after the camera
And see if both these work as they should |

OK
Won't be till next weekend as I only drive to Reading and back weekly.
Long term for me though - Although it is already speaking the speed as per my example. Not sure if distance is a help as my 15 secs means I can see the camera. If you follow Garmins 36 secs then, yes, you would need a countdown or you'd forget.
But, the STA overspeed works well. _________________ DashCam:

If you have 2 identical area databases loaded then the second one only shows changes from the first.
Once you have the latest one loaded remove the first one and the latest one camera numbers will change. _________________ DashCam:

If I set STA to automatically start the app on Bluetooth connection to my car rather than the service starting the app does not seem to get any gps info as the location doesn't change and the speedo shows a dash. I then have to force close the app in order to allow it to work when manually starting it, otherwise the issue remains.
If I set it to just automatically start the service everything works fine.
Phone is a Samsung Note 9 running Android 10, One UI 2.5. This has always happened since I started using STA.
Anyone elae found the same or got a solution? |

Change the app preference to allow 'location' to always.
The default is 'only when the app is open' _________________ DashCam:

Location already set to always.
Should mention that it all works fine if I start the app via the icon, it's only when set to start automatically via bluetooth that I get the issue. |

Does this app' work offline and does it need a separate map app' running or is it standalone?
My mobile is PAYG and I'm looking for an alternative to the PGW database for use in my second car
Thanks |

Hi.
Next STA beta version 1.2.04 (code 93).
New in this version: direct "over-the-air" update of PGPSW database. No longer necessary to download zip file every time.
Newly installed app needs only step 3 to enter credentials. |

Thanks Leo.
STA updating......
All setup and first database downloaded OK.
Q: I left it at weekly during setup and today being Tuesday is not ideal. How do I change it to every Thursday morning ? _________________ DashCam:
