Directional Warnings for GPX Converter

Version 15 is available.

A bug has been found when the GPX Converter Text Change screen was used with data from the Direction Converter.

If this is a feature you use then you will need both programs:

This version incorporates the check for the database date and will prompt you to download the latest if it's over a week old.

Yet another update ....

The inbuilt legacy UnZip routine was throwing a .COM error for some. Looks like maybe Microsoft have changed something in the year since the last version.

I've replaced it with the latest .NET routine that is (should be) more robust.

Update:

After feedback - I've changed the database check to obtain the latest published version 'live' from the PGPSW site.

It will check the installed database and after comparison will prompt you to update.

To get more information hover your mouse over the information box:

Code applied to mimic the CSV to GPX Converter:

Once you install this version it 'should' be the last time you are prompted to select your 'Working Directory' upon a fresh install.

I've changed the download link.

It looks like Dropbox made some changes back in March:

All I did last time was change the "dl=0" to "dl=1", which I've done again to the last download link above.

Reading the link it may be just IE affected ?

Works for me K. Now just gets on with the download rather than having to ponce around with whether to download or save to Dropbox.
Incidentally, those posts you referenced were 2017 not this year.

New Version:

As previously mentioned, I've had to update the .Net version from 4.5 to 4.7

This is for full Win10 compatibility.

Note: If you haven't got .Net 4.7 (Non Win10) you will be prompted to download it and it should provide a Microsoft link.

Whilst testing a few cosmetic items have been changed:

1) When the base CSV backup files are available the recovery button is highlighted green.
2) If you closed the program prematurely and reopened it, it would delete the processed CSV files. It now retains them and only the subsequent run of the CSV Converter will remove them as they get converted to GPX.

Bugfix:

The program was not deleting CSV files on an unzip so if you accidentally downloaded, unzipped, processed, then unzipped and processed again it was appending to the existing CSV file(s).
