|
|
hi all, i recently bought a navigon 4350 max and am very pleased with it,and i took advantage of the 2 year map updates for approx £18.
these downloaded to my navigon fresh software on my desktop no problem.
however on sunday night (1/11) i bought the REAL SIGNPOST PRO from the navigon shop and it sent me an e-mail with an activation code.
i entered this on the navigon fresh desktop but it says "not for use with the navigon 4350".
i have checked there site and it says the signpost pro is available for the 4350.
am i doing something wrong.
if anyone has any ideas i would be grateful.
p.s. i contacted navigon and they said they would open a case file and get back to me. i'm not confident about that. |

The simplest guess is that you unfortunately had a bit of finger trouble and selected the wrong model in the drop-down list in the 'shop'.
If you know you selected the right model, then maybe Navigon have got a linkage glitch their end, matching your selection with the wrong model software version.
Any model-indentifying info in the download 'paperwork' and/or software (eg a give-away filename for the downloaded file)? _________________ David

I have Real Roadsign Pro working on my 4350Max from the Navigon Fresh store - have you downloaded the latest version of Fresh (last weeks release?) - if so it may well be just a glitch
Navigon telephone support are helpful - give them a call _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

thanks guys, had me worried there bigperk, but as you see xtraseller has it working on his 4350.
have i got this right..you enter the activation code supplied in the e-mail into the navigon fresh and it should d/load the application .
if so i tried this a dozen times, still says not intended for use on 4350
the actvation code is 12 digits long upper and lower case.
thanks guys for the help.
just wondering if i uninstall navigon fresh and re-install with the latest version will it still keep my map updates which i payed for when i put the new navigon fresh on my computer. |

The Q&A on the Navigon website Quote: | The function "Navigon Fresh" | implies that you should be ok regarding your purchases. But as long as you have evidence, if it did go wrong, I guess it would just be something else to get them to put right _________________ David
