|
|
Hi,
As you can probably tell im looking at Navman PIN and the Mitac mio 168 as my choice for a all in one GPS thingy.. I like the idea of less cables..
But, i need some help on which one to buy. I know its up to me at the end of the day, but i'd really apprieciate any suggestions on which route to take(pun intended)...
Also what maps are the best in your opinion...TT3,copilot,navtech,destinator etc...
Please help me choose
Thanks in advance

Navman PiN comes with SmartST PRO V2, giving map coverage of 16 European countries. What do you get with the Mitac Mio? _________________ Tim |

Whose UK map though?
My personal take is this.
Navteq map data is better than TeleAtlas.
Tomtom and Navman both now use TeleAtlas data.
Tomtom supports add-ons such as Customisable POIs, camera sites, etc..
whereas Navman doesn't (yet). _________________ Tim |

Between Navman and TomTom I'd choose TomTom. They both use TeleAtlas map data but TomTom has a clearer interface and fully supports custom POIs, Safety Cameras etc, and because there is an SDK for developers you also get great add-ons such as UKPostCode etc. _________________ Darren Griffin |
