I would like to contact Navigon technical support by email ( not phone ) but after a frustrating run around on their website I have been unable to find one.
I have a week old 2210 which I really like but has exhibited a couple of odd intermittents that may or may not be cured after contacting support, but not on the phone ! |

On the Navigon web site click the:
Support tab
(on the bottom of that page you will see - All your questions answered!)
click on:
more
(on that page you will see 2 tabs at the top)
click on: Ask a question
Hope that works |

Thanks for your reply. I still could not find any support tabs on the Navigon webpage as you suggest UNTIL I changed from Firefox ( my normal browser ) to Windows Internet Explorer and now all is revealed, support tabs and all.
However Navigon still ignore my emails about a product three weeks old which is rather worrying to say the least as other manufacturers have responded within 24 hours or less when I have contacted them by email.
Shame. |

I used to have the problem of these missing tabs in Firefox, but it's now fine. I think I queried it with Navigon, but don't know if it was something they did or not that sorted it (I'm assuming you are on the more-or-less current version).
I do have to wait variable times for responses - I would say (apart from the auto ACK of course) 3-5 days is quite usual - latest query was 1 day, but they're only usually that quick if the answer's definitely 'NO' - not that a later response is necessairily more positive in my experience ).
Overall, they do respond - there would be no harm in prodding them, and they are usually reasonably responsive and apologetic then. I think part of the issue is that the help desk staff refer most things to the development team who have a fairly traditional 'back-room' outlook on life. _________________ David
