|
|
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if a Garmin Zumo Motorcycle hard wire power cable will power a Nuvi 350?
Is the connector on the Zumo Cable a Mini usb connector? i'm struggling to see on the stock photo for the cable.
Regards Andy |

I'm fairly sure the Zumo uses a proprietary connector at it's cradle and not mini-USB. _________________ Darren Griffin |

The man is correct the cable is designed to fit the zumo cradle.
The car connection is also not usb. _________________ Zumo 500 + 4GB SD Card, car Kit and GTM21
Linked to Autocom by bluetooth and all seems good.
Traffic reception in the central belt of Scotland and hurray NW England seems to be working again. Still a million times better than the Quest 2 it replaces |

As that claims compatibility with a range of devices including TomTom ONE all of which use mini-USB I would suggest that is NOT suitable for your Zumo. _________________ Darren Griffin |

that's alright as he's looking to power a Nuvi 350 not a Zumo.
as stated above both the Bike mount power cable and car mount power cables for the Zumo are different (and neither is mini usb) as they connect to the mount not the unit. Just to confuse things further the Zumo can be directly powered from it's mini USB port as well but not when it's in either cradle as the USB port is covered. |

Indeed he is, my apologies, shouldn't reply until I have fully woken up! _________________ Darren Griffin |
