Not uncommon so here are some things to try in the meantime.

Things to try:-
-Clean glass and sucker - a greasy window or sucker won't stick.
-Place only on a flat piece of glass - sucker doesn't like severe curves.
-Press firmly - Sucker needs a good seal to hold.
-Faulty sucker - replace sucker

Which model was it that required a double 'click' to lock to the window?

I find wetting the sucker seems to stop it falling off.

The x10 devices with the fully active mount required two clicks, the first secured the holder to the windscreen the second tightened the whole assembly up and secured the mounting arm into position ths avoiding the "drooping" problem so often reported - Mike

I climbed the walls and tore my hair out for a week with one of my TomToms. I eventually discovered that I was trying to get it really close to the bottom of the windscreen, where I had a dark border all round the windscreen, made up from small dots of black (paint?). Those dots were negating the seal, which needs to be flat(ish) sucker to flat(ish) glass.

yes - to repeat as others say, I clean windscreen and sucker periodically and damp the sucker when reattaching it - I usually leave it on at home/work, but remove it when in more public places

I use a sucker onto "bean bag" type Arkon mount and I got so sick of it coming unstuck, I glued it to the mount.

Same old advice; lever operated suckers give best adhesion, and the bigger the sucker the better. Arkon and Herbert Richter are the ones I know best and Buybits does several that seem to be their own spec.

I found that a six inch nail through the centre of the mount will did the trick. Very Happy

Seriously, DennisN is spot on with his comments. The same applied to me in my Picasso. It has to be placed on a clean, not 'painted' section of glass.
