I thought I would commend Robin on his low bridges database.
It wouldn't initially work on my 2210 with TTN3 but once I sussed out that the lat and long was reversed and corrected the file it now works a treat.
Keep up the good work

Wow, a big thank you to you aswell, just what i was looking for, i was expecting just to find the poi icon bmp's, which would mean i would have to match them up to Robin's ov2 file, but no you have done that aswell, excellent.
[cheeky mode]i wonder if anyone out there has done a weight limit ov2 & bmp yet[/cheeky mode]

My files can be used on the i3, but after downloading the file you would need to un-zip as normal, then when you know which files you want to use (either the separate heights or the single file) you would need to change the file format type as they are either .ov2 or .asc in the included zip.
The file type the Garmin uses is .csv, so you would need to choose and change the .asc to .csv file format.
If you just right click each file and then change the file name
eg
AMN_LOW_BRIDGE_ALL.asc
to
AMN_LOW_BRIDGE_ALL.csv
it will work as the file structure inside the file is the same, it's just the file format name that is different. I have just this minute tried it with that file myself on my i3, but having not driven around to try it I am not sure what warning bong you get
Don't forget the silly rule that the Garmin PoiLoader removes ALL existing files when loading new ones, so if you had the Safety Camera poi's before you will need to add the low bridge poi(s) to that folder when you load them or you will end up with just the low bridge poi(s). |
