Ok, thanks lutz,

I've modified it and removed the version stuff, now you just select the file and it's up to the user to know which version (4.42/5.0 etc) system it came off. Unchecking the 'Yes, my device is a TTG' checkbox will result in the second bank being set as the target for the sound files.

I would recommend that you always fill both banks, the first with 22050 and the second with 16000. You also have to target the Pocket PC, the Palm, and the UIQ, and with this approach you catch them all. And you can remove that checkbox too. _________________ Lutz

Both banks are filled regardless of the state of the checkbox, however, only the appropriate bank is *changed* depending on the state of the checkbox.
ie. If bank 1 is being changed then bank 2 just contains the original sounds.

Hi KenJ,
Ok, I'm assuming you get the error about it being a bad .chk file - is that correct? Can you send me a copy of the data.chk file from the TTN and I'll take a look

The data.chk is the DATA file you have. The .chk is the file type. |

You don't see the .CHK extension with the Pocket File Explorer. Use Resco Explorer or any other tool that doesn't hide extensions. _________________ Lutz

Just a quick note,
with the release of 5.2 firmware the app is broken, I noticed that the data.chk file for the TTG have changed in size...
looking at it now...

New version released.
Please be aware this version treats you like an adult. If it doesn't recognise the number of modules it will tell you, but it WILL give you the option to continue (or cancel).

Sorry,
just a quick warning...
I seem to have a problem talking to my TTG via the usb cable.
Just installed 5.2 and now I can't talk to it via the usb cable. Just gives a new screen telling me not to remove the cable, then I see the picture of the TomTom and finally it goes into normal operation (navigation mode)

ok, nm, panic over
Reset fixed it...
although it did try to detect the ttg as a new usb device needing a new driver

Ok, version 5.2 with poipatcher results in silent sounds for the ones you patch - unpatched seem unaffected.
Researching it atm
