Hi I am new to this I would like some advice, I have an Ipaq 5550 and am thinking of purchasing a Fortuna GPS with Co Pilot live 5.
I require help with the purchase of a mount this will require a built in speaker and be able to be moved as i use a variety of pool cars at work.
Any help and advice would be appreciated

Hi John, welcome to the forums.
You will need a powered mount.
There are various mounting options such as the Arkon powered mount or a Seidio Ready Mount that can attach to the windscreen via a large sucker. Another suggestion is a Brodit amplified mount which are a little pricey and require a Pro-Clip specific to the vehicle so you would need a clip for each car. _________________ Ian.

Hi John,
You might want to consider the Holux Powered Mount - CR100.
I have heard that the mount for the 38/39 series will fit the 5450, so it should fit the 5550 too.
This amplified powered mount also has a GPS receiver built into it and is a small compact size, minimizing cables in the car and is portable between cars.
Pocket GPS rate it 98% so it must be a good buy, see link below;

The Holux mount is a good one and one which I had overlooked, however if any of the vehicles have coated windscreen then the built-in GPS will struggle and it should be noted the CR-100 doesn't have an external antenna socket.
If you do have coated windscreen then you will need a Re-Radiating antenna that will broadcast the signal from outside the car to inside the car, but it will require an additional power supply meaning more cables. _________________ Ian.
