We currently have two types of ratings, hardware
and software. We've had to create two types of reviews because there
are obviously items in the hardware we need to review that wouldn't be present
in the software and vice versa. We use a rating out of 10, which translates
easily into 100%.
Pocket PC GPS Hardware
| For the Hardware Rating
below, we add up each of the 4 items and divide by the maximum they can
achieve which is 40. So we take 8+9+0+9/40=64% |
Pocket PC GPS Software
| For the Software Rating
below, we add up each of the 4 items and divide by the maximum they can
achieve which is 50. So we take 7+0+9+8+8/50=64% |
All Purpose Mapping Software (PC/PDA)
| For the Software Rating
below, we add up each of the 4 items and divide by the maximum they can
achieve which is 40. So we take 7+7+8+6/40=70% |
