Toshiba laptop/Fugawi 3software/Garmin Etrex Mariner hand.

Hello All,

I am using a Toshiba laptop with Fugawi 3 software coupled to a Garmin Etrex Mariner handheld GPS. It appears Fugawi and the Garmin are communicating. The log in Fugawi shows NEMA sentenences and my realtime position is displayed by text at the bottom of the screen on the laptop. The problem is, my realtime position icon is not displayed on the chart.

I am able to upload and download waypoints and routes.

I suspect there is no position icon in the program files. I don't know what to try next. Any suggestions? Thanks
