Hi,
I have recently bought MM2004 OS edition for the whole of GB (1:50,000), so I’m very much a beginner on this topic.
In the next few weeks we're hoping to go on a car rally / Treasure hunt that requires Ordnance Survey Landranger (1:50,000) paper map number 141 Kettering and Corby. I already have a paper map of the area, and the rules allow electronic maps and GPS equipment to be used as well.
Is there a way of transferring a piece of map data from the PC to the PDA that is the same size and area as covered in the paper map 141?
Thanks, _________________ Robert.

Hi MrT,
Thanks for the reply.
In this case I have the paper map so that is relatively easy to find the area. What happens if the area covers more than one region, will Memory-Map automatically stitch the regions together for one area that can be exported to the PDA?
I take it that there is no lazy way of specify map 141, which instructs Memory-Map to export that area (covered by the paper map) to the PDA?
Thanks _________________ Robert.

There is usually quite an overlap on map regions (except aerial photography) so this is usually not necessary. However if a route does cover a boundary, you need to merge the maps together on the PC, view the merged map, then export the area you want to the PDA.
