https://discussions.tomtom.com/en/discussion/1123561/new-maps-v10-50-available-for-download

On Tuesday 26th of May 2020, we have released maps v10.50.

The new maps will be offered as a download for car, motorcycle, automotive, trucker and camper devices.

- Map of India has not been released (latest India map remains at version is 10.40)
- There will be an additional map release for all maps that contain Mexico in the next month. This release will correct a street name issues on the Mexico map v10.50. That map version will be 10.51.

The announcement will be updated once that release is rolled out.

The maps for the GO Mobile Apps will be released on 2nd June 2020 (tentative).

My GO1005 has map 10.47 installed but trying to update to map 10.50 I'm getting a message, "Your device does not have enough space, switch to a smaller map or install a memory card". I've put in a 8GB micro card and after formatting, I'm still getting the same stupid message. Anybody got a clue what's going on?

How about deleting/removing the 1047 map as I seem to remember that it doesn't automatically replace/overwrite an older (same name) map now but I may be mistaken.

After trying over and over to install map 10.50 my device suddenly decided "no map found"; "Gordon Bennett". So wait an hour, try again and this time it installed OK. These things have minds of their own!

I have stopped watching updates (fortunately I'm on lockdown so I don't have any sense of urgency over them). I just plug the thing in, make sure it starts, then walk away for half a day or so and when I come back, it's finished (although in this case today, it had gone so long it had another batch of map updates to download).

That is now at least two new maps since being on furlough and lockdown.

...and with cheap fuel, but nowhere to go!

I expect fuel will go up and Tomtom will die when the majority go back to work. Smile

You could drive to Durham with your cheap fuel. Some of us who haven’t been able to go out and take advantage of the cheap fuel feel very envious. The last time I filled up was nearly three months ago before the prices dropped, when I was used to driving 6,000 miles a month. Thinking about it, Durham isn’t far enough to make it worth your while - Aberdeen. When you get there, do remember to check your eyesight. Laughing

I presume you have been to Mexico to check these out?

Make sure you self isolate and give your address to the UK authorities on your return. Very Happy
