Please, help to choose a PDA GPS system

Hi
I'm planning to buy some PDA GPS system, or alternatively just the street routing software, and later the GPS reveiver.
I'll use it with driving, but I'll use even more walking, being my country Sweden. The product must, then, have a good routing for walking.
Being at different products websites, I found difficult to find objective information about their walking routing capabilities, and as I never have had a GPS system before, I don't know how useful they are for out-of-car routing.
I come here, thus, asking for suggestions about a system.
The ones I'm thinking about, in preference order:
Destinator 3
TomTom 3
Navman

Basically none of the street routing products will route off roads, in fact they do not have footpaths or trails on them. The closest application for this is Delorme Topo!, but this has maps for the USA only.

If you want Walking maps for your country then you should consider applications such as Memory-Map, Fugawi, or OziExplorer, all of which have topographical capabilities, but none will give you automatic routing.

i already had a pda so i went for a garmin unit with enough memory to store the metroguide maps and purchased a copy of anquet and mapsonic. this way i have the anquet for doing my routes for walking and the mapsonic for sat nav when the gps is linked to the pda.

Can't comment on the software, using Tomtom 3 myself and never having seen the others, but for PDA you might trry the Mitec Mio 168 which has a built-in GPS antennae. I am finding it an excellent tool for use in both car and when mountain biking!
