Now that I'm using my DS61 regularly I've come across a restriction.
Bottom right corner only allows one option.
I'd like to see both distance to go and expected arrival time. Amongst other options you can select you can only display 1.
Fortunately my Alpine built in nav shows both. _________________ Satnav:

You need to select Spanner, Trip data ... that gives you four datafields on the right hand side. If you can't see Trip data go to Settings, Map & Vehicle, Map tools and select it. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I looked there but the display only allows 1 option.
I want to see distance to go and arrival time together. _________________ Satnav:

Looks like Garmin are taking a leaf out of TomTom's guide to upsetting customers, as TomTom iOS GO won't show the remaining time to arrival and remaining distance to arrival together, it's either one or the other or switch every 3 seconds so you have to glance several times at the satnav in order to obtain the information you want! Not safe at all.

It will unless you select Spanner, Trip data ... that gives you four datafields, see

I can't remember whether this was ever an option but with the 6" screen there is certainly plenty of room to display more than one item.
The spanner to change options is too big. _________________ Satnav:

No
I've currently got, bottom right corner, my distance to destination and the spanner. As you rightly said there are 4 options when using the spanner but they are just single options.
Nowhere else on the display is any other info re final destination.
Unless I'm missing a trick ..... _________________ Satnav:

All those data fields on the right hand side are changeable though, so you can select the ones you want, see my screenshot above. You are selecting Spanner, Trip data ... That's what gives you the extra data fields _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I'll have a look in the morning.
In that position you have shown though I have my traffic data. I'll see what I can do ....

Yes, you can have all sorts of stuff there ... traffic, trip data, up ahead, volume, turns, change route etc, all selectable via spanner icon _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

When there is traffic the traffic data is displayed instead of the trip data. When the traffic clears the trip data comes back into view. You can control it manually if you wish. _________________ Paul |
