City Navigator Europe NT 2020.10 has just been released for older devices.

(The unicode version City Navigator NTU 2020.10 for newer devices has indeed been out for a month now).

please can anyone tell me what this update was, I did mine yesterday but it was done in a couple of minutes?

It's a map update, but for older devices, the equivalent one for newer models was released much earlier. What device do you have as it should have taken more than a few minutes?

I did the update for express first then it advised me there was an update for my camper 760, I have looked and it shows 2 maps 2020.10 north and south, like you said it must have been updated before.

That device will have the NTU maps, so yes, probably updated a while back.

Not that up to date - went for a drive through a field yesterday on a road that opened in March 2017. I will forgive them for the bit that opened earlier this year but Google Maps has both correct. When reporting the errors it is not easy - what map do I actually have because nowhere does it state, either on the device or in Garmin Express, the exact map designation.

I thought one of the menu items was the installed maps version.
