But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

Is there a way to disable the built in Garmin POI's? I have found that especially in towns, for example restaurants, tend to swamp the screen making it very difficult to see the route.

Any pointers gratefully received! _________________ Tom Tom 720T

Is it not in the manual? (That's a polite way of saying RTFM )
But just in case you have misplaced your manual, on my DS61 LMT-D it's:
Settings ~ Map & Vehicle ~ Map Layers ~ Up Ahead Places * (Tap right arrow) ~ tap one of the three types ~ Select what you want to display.
*If you Un-check Up Ahead Places, you will not get any Garmin POIs displayed.

Thank you! I found the settings you mentioned and unticked the Up Ahead Places as the Restaurants and Petrol Stations were ticked, but greyed out _________________ Tom Tom 720T
