Etrex 30 notes

When you double click a track in basecamp, you see Properties, Graph, Notes and References.
If you add notes, are you able to see these in the Garmin Etrex.

I would like to be able to see information on my device explaining any relevant info.

Typ. Carpark opening and closing times, route time and length, interesting facts.

I'm not sure as never tried it. Just have a go and see. It may be that as a gpx you cannot, but if not you could try converting it to a POI and then it might work. Geocaches loaded to a Garmin handheld do show notes etc.
