One other thing...

M roads...

Example: GATSO:28947 is on the M-45 which is in an orange box. The M-31 that runs over the M-45 is in a blue box.

Would 28497 be 90 as it's not on a 'blue road'?

Hi MaFt,

The M45 is a road owned by Madrid hence the Orange box, however, in this instance it is also an AutoPista so it's speed would remain the same and not be demoted to 90.

But, I notice that 28947 is already a 90, I'm confused. Surprised

Is there an easy way to work out it's an AutoPista? Things to look out for on the map? On StreetView?? Are blue signs akin to AutoPista like they are on UK motorways?

Yeah - cos I changed it to 90 because it wasn't blue... Confused

No, not really. I'm only repeating what I am reading on Wiki pages, namely this one --

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highways_in_Spain

and then following any hyperlinks relating to the roads in question.
