Hi all,

I was wondering if any clip on owners use it with a Dell Axim X30??

I have ordered a X30 from Dell and need to order a GPS software and receiver.

I previously owned the Medion bundle from Aldi. So I have experienced wired GPS in the car and fancy wireless solution as I move from car to car with my job as I travel a lot but in hire cars.

Also I am tempted to purchase the the clip on in this bundle http://www.globalpositioningsystems.co.uk/viewprod.php?product_id=742. I have read a little about this somewhere on this site and it was not very positive. Just wondering if any of you have bought this and could give me a review.

Thanks for taking the time to read this Thumbs Up

Hi,

I've used the Clip On with a Dell Axim X30 for a few weeks now. Can't comment on the software you're looking at but I'm getting excellent performance running TT3.03 - no lock ups at all (touch wood!) on journeys ranging from a few miles to over 700.

You'll need a decent pda mount/amplifier - the Dell speaker's not great.
Recommend the Seidio 2500 for X3 - plenty volume and the vent clip's easy to move from car to car.

Hope this helps.
