When I connect my DS 61 to my computer it shows up as two 'drives', E:\ @ 14.2Gb and I:\ @ 127Mb. The E:\Drive has most everything on it and the I:\ 'drive' only has the .System folder on it.
Is this normal? |

Seems like the device has two partitions on it. I must have a look with my partition manager tomorrow. And one of my old backups to see where .System is on that. |

Is this just something you've just noticed or has it been there from day 1 _________________ Satnav:

Two completely different scenarios K.
I have only just noticed, but it might have been there since day one because I have not noticed it before. |

Yep.
Just run Iomei partition manager at it and there are indeed two partitions on the drive as indicated in my previous post.
That's obviously the way it is. What's your 51 like K? |

Ain't got one, just the 2599 and 2699, no partitions on those.
Maybe a safety thing, putting .system on another partition.
As your original, you need another owner _________________ Satnav:

Pretty sure the Garmin DashCam I reviewed (the only recent Garmin device I've used) had the same partition set up.
