But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

Hi Robw123,
to the forum!
The app should come with an old and therefore out-of-date database so you shouldn't need to register it to get a feel of the app. This is true for the iPhone version and so it should be true for the Android version as well.
Give it a try for a while and if you're happy with the the data (and you should hopefully be) then buy a subscription from this website.

Don't know whether it's the same as if you are already registered, but try touch and hold the PGPSW icon at the top right of the screen. This should pop up stuff at the bottom of the screen. tap Manage Cameras. Does that give you the option of updating to the latest free download?
I'm not certain, as I am a paying member.

IOnce you have registered/paid at PGPSW, use the "Link PocketGPSWorld account", NOT "Subscribe at PocketGPSWorld", as this will give you a new stupid username on the forum.
