According to TT in post #1 here https://en.discussions.tomtom.com/news-and-announcements-37/new-maps-v10-10-available-for-download-1036439/index1.html they are intending to release a new version to include the reduced speed limits which come into force on 1-July "before the end of June"
Because I doubt very much that TT would or could notify their literally thousands of subscribers to all those effected that revised maps "should" be released before the 1-July I suggest that anyone with a current subscription for a map of France and (I assume) a European or European zone/area that covers France should watch this space and check through TTHome and/or MyDrive over the next week or so. |

| Apparently all these 1011 maps are now released but currently the TT server is suffering from overload so keep trying! |

| Just connected my 1005 and am being offered the 1011 map to cover France with the new lowered speed limits. I have Lifetime maps of Europe. |

| Tomtom (bless them) are doing a rather opportunistic email ad using the frog speed limit change to target NAV2 owners. |

Yup - I just had one saying there's a critical update for my device but that my device can't handle it and I will have to upgrade... |

As I'm not going to France in the forseeable near future I won't be downloading this update. Some devices seem to have been "bricked!" As far as I can see in the TT discussion there is no effect on the UK map. Does anyone know otherwise?

| ONLY maps that include France have been up-revved to 1011 (to incl the reduced speed limits there) so don't worry, and remember there'll be a whole new release 1015 sometime next month too! |
