Too many poi's.. cant load..

Hi, im running checkPOInt and when i get my poi's it says too many , cant load.. has anyone got any idea how many is too many?? also how do i remove some without removing all??

Similar problem here, after adding new ones and updating old ones. I don't know how many is too many and would be interested if anyone has an answer for you.

I went in to the files on my storage card and deleted ones that I didn't think were particularly needed or on closer inspection only had 1 or 2 POIs in them.
