In the days of the old Gatso cameras, when they were attended to to retreive the film, those that could be rotated to trap the opposite direction often were.

These days a lot of them are being replaced with digital Monitrons that don't need any further attention.

Are these new cameras rotated?

As a guess, I'd say no. Reason for this as follows.
Around Northolt, Thiefrow etc, there were a number of reversible cameras like you describe. A lot of these have been removed and replaced by 2 digital cameras, one in each direction.
Some of the old ones have been removed and not replaced by anything.

Northolt is my back garden. Smile

The reason I ask is a camera I checked last week on the Uxbridge road, Eastbound just past Lees road towards Hayes was a reversable Gatso and is now a Monitron that looks locked solid trapping Eastbound.
