Activation code...

To cut a long story short I recieved 2 Copies of TomTom 3 during the upgrade fiasco.

A family member was in my car today and thought it was a great system so they are now looking for a PDA and a GPS reciever. I will supply the software in return for lots of favours. Laughing

My problem is I cannot remember what disc I used for myself.Is there anyway of finding out what activation code I used?

Goto www.ttcode.com and from here type in the Product Code in one of the boxes. It'll then give you a screen from where you can enter your Device Code. If you have already used that Product Code it'll give you a link saying "If your device code is xxxx xxxxx then click here".

Obviously, if you get that then you know that is "your" copy.

You can register each copy twice, though.

Does that mean we are allowed to install TomTom on 2 PDA's?

Would be great if I could install it on my wifes too.

Although a grey area as far as the licence is concerned, yes the activation process allows a second install on a different PDA once a week has passed since the initial install.

where would i find my device code?

When you install TTNav and it requires activation it will be displayed on screen when you launch TomTom, you will then be prompted to visit www.ttcode.com and enter this in return for which you will received the actibation code assuming you are within the permitted number of activations.
