With the much appreciated help from Dennis on here yesterday I managed to restore my one xl from a previous backup. 1 issue I have (albeit a minor one) is that I seem to have reverted to a female speed cam warning voice. Is there a simple way of getting back the male voice I had previously without having to set each camera individually, which is a real pain!!
Many thanks again.

Should be easy enough. The audio files always have the same names (irrespective of which male or female voice they actually are), because they need to match the file names of each of the camera data files.

So if you just download the voice you prefer again and overwrite the ones on your TomTom with the new files, all should be well.

If you use the "new" supported voice files, they are downloaded at the same time as you download the speed cam files, so just select the one you want (Male, with or without chime) in the "Available Voice Packs" box on the download form, and then copy them onto the TomTom in the same place the old ones were. You shouldn't have to re-do any settings.

If you want a change, there are still some old alternative voice files HERE.
Some are missing a few bits (like 20mph warnings), but I can recommend the "Text to speech - Simon" pack which IS complete and has warnings that are a lot shorter then the "approved" ones. Much less annoying when the alerts are coming thick and fast like in a SPECS zone!
