|
|
Hi I have the recent Aldi Medion bundle.
This morning I was using the Medion Navigator+POI Warner on way to a job. When I decided to exit it. I pressed 'STOP' it froze for a while and just gave me the main menu so I pressed 'QUIT'.
Since then I cannot get POI Warner to load or Navigator to open at all. Everytime I click on Medion Navigator an error pops up and says"LanGerCE.dll cannot be loaded.
I have come home and cannot not Sync with ActiveSync. 3.7.1??
I have gone to Add/Remove Programs and removed the program from the Pocket PC and my PC then re-installed.
I did a soft reset then. Medion Navigator is now opening again if a lillte slowly. But POI Warner still not loading?
Any ideas what happened to the device this morning and what the LanGerCE.dll was all about? Is this the beginning of the end of my device!
When can't I Sync? What can I do?
Any ideas/suggestions/help appreciated folks |

Also get messages of Program memory low all day since the problems this morning. But I haven't added any new apps in weeks and I usually put new ones on my other SD memory card? |

I find that POIWarner has caused problems on both my Aldi unit with Navigon and iPAQ with TTN3. It causes the units to crash and a soft reset is required. I am not impressed given that it costs about £20.
Maybe you need to do a hard reset and re-intall everything? |

I'm also using POI Warner with the Aldi/Medion kit and the whole thing has become much less stable since I installed POI-Warner. I've had a number of total lock ups/soft reset situations etc. Anyone else having problems? |

The whole machine is virtually useless. I tired to open a note this morning and it couldn't do it. I eneded up doing a soft reset. You hit the today/start bar nad you have to wait an age for it to appear.
I'm gutted I really use my pocket pc for work and leisure and need to get it sorted.
Any ideas? |

This is exactly what happened to mine - I think POIWarner is the culprit. Hard reset and re-install was what I did. |

Given the terms of the Aldi return deal (one year no questions asked). I'd try a hard reset - install navigator but leave POI-Warner off. I didn't have any serious locking up issues until I installed POI-Warner. |
