I am currently using version 2 of Checkpoint, it seems that there is a problem with version 3 from reports I have read in this forum. However, does anyone know if these problems have been solved, and is it now worth upgrading to V3?

I'd stick with V2. Apart from the addition of an on screen arrow indicating the direction of the POI little else is different and the CheckPOInt.ov2 capture file in V3 does not contain all then info we need to update our database. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Darren,
I didn't realise that version 3 gave you a problem with "data uploads". I'll downgrade immediately, as that probably explains why many of the cameras I emailed you didn't appear in the next release of your database....
Can I suggest that you publicise this fact more widely and that you suggest as many people as possible use version 2 so that your camera database is as comprehensive as possible.....
Cheers,
Graham. |
