Just got one of these Sat navs and was wondering if there is another voice file I can instead of the default English one, its to robotic like for me, I have installed the speed camera's with the ( I think Liz voice) Is this voice available to use for the Nav directions on this unit if so how.

Run Garmin Express, go to the Device tab, scroll down and select Optional Updates, Language files. Select the English ones ... that will install any additional ones that may be available for your satnav.

Thanks for that just what I was looking for. I just feeling my way around 3598 as I have just bought it after having Tom Tom's for years, and up to now I am very impressed with it, apart from the higher build quality than my Tom tom the screen and speed of this unit is excellent.

I am also very pleased that I can use the pgs cams and all the poi's that I used on my old unit.

I did post in the Tt section on my 740 live dying so I read up and then went to Halfords and did a side by side test on the 3598 and the TT 5000 and 6000. In the end there was a no brianer decision that the 3598 was far superior to the TT's.
