checkpoint 3.2 freezing problems help please

im using checkpoint 3.2 with tomtom 3 with a dell axim win 2003 64mb memory no other programs installed i have a 256 mb card with a 16 mb map of birmingham on it after about 10 mins it will freeze tomtom and the checkpoint icon stops flashing if i exit from checkpoint tomtom will continue to work no problems can any one please help its a exellent bit of kit if it works properly
