Deleted a file in Error

I'm hoping someone can help me out, please.
I was trying to tidy up my 3598LMT-D, and was deleting some not needed files.
I now find that the voice on the PND only tells me to turn left or right in 100yrd or so, but does not tell me the name of the street/road to turn onto.
Can anyone tell me whats wrong and what i need to do to put this right.
Some of the files i've remove included the voice files.

Looks like you've removed the text to speech voices.

Before you started fiddling did you take a back up? If so then just restore the files and try again!

If not then I *think* if you run the Garmin Software Updater it will give you an option after checking for firmware to install 'extras' like voice files etc.

I did do a back up of my system so i'll give that a go later on.
I'll also do a software update as well, thanks for your help MaFt.
The only voices i (think) removed were the foreign languages ones, which I had no real need for, so I’ll see what happens once I restore the saved back up

Just run Garmin's WebUpdater, available here:

http://www8.garmin.com/products/webupdater/howtoinstall.jsp

... you'll be able to restore the voices you need.

What 'didn't work'?

If you ran webupdater the voices are towards the end after it's confirmed your software is out of date. You possibly exited too soon.

As stated earlier the problem is missing text to speech or TTS voice files. Webupdater will update your voice files for you, but they are one of, if not the last, option.

Note having loaded the TTS voices you will need to ensure one is selected.
