1. Am I in the right forum for the machine I have?
2. My NM is second hand and so i dont have a PK and i want to register it.
3. In my "Navman Online" options - it does not use my Google Chrome but goes to Internet explorer and freezes.

Thats all for starters....

Yes - Mio bought the Navman company so it is refered to as Mio Navman (and sometimes Navman Mio)

Registration is usually for warranty purposes so I doubt you would be able to register a 2nd hand device.

In windows click on Start and then Run (or press the Windows key and R) and type: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com
See what browser opens - whichever one opens is your default browser. If it is not Chrome then you will need to go into the Chrome settings and choose the option of making it your default. The the Navman software should open in Chrome.

Hope that helps a bit?

Thanks,

I thought I would need to activate it to register it to get updates and maps. I need NZ maps.

Yes, Google Chrome is my default browser and the link worked - why is my Navman attempting to open up Internet Explorer?
