I have reported several mobile sites over the last few years two of which have eventually appeared on the map (D96042 Sicklesmere road, Bury St Edmunds and D92525 Brinkley Grove Road Colchester). These two appeared a very long time after my submission. My question is this (and I am not complaining, just interested in the procedure) if I was first to report these I would have heard something to my advantage, and if I was second or third, why did it take so long (at least a year) before they appeared on the map, as being second would confirm the position?

If you was the first then you would have won a lifetime subscription, like I did. But I'm sure it takes quite a while longer to get said cameras verified! |

What is the easiest way of reporting WRONG info being given out by the speed cam app?
Wrong speed limits being reported is the main one. |

Quick answer. On the submission map there is an option to 'Change existing camera'. If you need more info, just ask again. |

Tap the camera (either on the map itself or in the list view) then in the camera detail screen tap on 'edit details'. From there you can select the changes that need applying - the current values are pre-selected and highlighted in blue.
Hope that helps? A voice note can be useful too eg 'should be 60 not 50' which will then get processed as a speed change request.

If you are using the iPhone or Android version of the App, the manuals will tell you how - basically you simply tap on the camera in question then select to Edit its details.
For PND versions, go to the submission map HERE, enter the camera number in the ID box, then select Change existing camera from the drop down Action box, then make the necessary entries where appropriate. _________________ Dennis
