Updated version:
1) Small cosmetic changes to the Garmin downloaded data screens to make them more user friendly to edit the downloaded data lists ('Manage' buttons).
2) The bug that terminated the program when your internet connection or the PGPSW site was down has been fixed.
3) Garmin data screen now includes last POILoader usage :
Usual link :
**Download CSV Converter (Latest Version) **
Stop Press:
New Garmin CSV Checker WIP (Me and M8TJT).
It is aimed at normal Garmin POILoader usage (not the CSV to GPX Converter) and is a check tool to help us help them.
Sneak preview :
Almost there:

Question:
Does anybody have different values for the different speeds or could I consolidate it down to a single 'Approach' and 'OverSpeed' for each category ?
For example - Gatso would have a single entry as would Mobile, etc.
So in the above example Gatso, for me, would be 14 & 6 and Mobile would be 18 & 6 for all speeds.

I have different values set, longer for higher speeds as I prefer an earlier warning _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

No problem, I've no intention of retiring the current version.
So for faster speeds you want more time even though the program automatically increases the distance so the xx seconds you choose is maintained.
I'll run the 2 side by side and provide 2 links once testing and document changes are complete.
First testing OK as all the .gpx files, comparing old and new are "binary equal". I've been able to space things out a bit and enlarge some of the font sizes.
Thanks for the feedback. _________________ Satnav:

Not a critical update.
During my V2 work I've inserted a check for the installed version v the Dropbox version so I've incorporated it in V1.
If they are the same then you will see the same as now, if different then you will see this:
Upon first installation nothing will change until a new version is available.
**Download CSV Converter V1 (Latest Version) **
The V2 will be available soon, in QA _________________ Satnav:

I've been running my latest slimmed down V2 for a number of weeks now without issue so I think it's ready for anyone who wants a slightly cutdown version:
Existing Version:
**Download CSV Converter V1**
Latest Version 2:
**Download CSV Converter V2**
Main screen:
Main differences:
Screen slightly larger to allow display of all CSV, WAV and BMP files
Text adjust removed
Option to download database with or without pMobiles
Program version check
Camera speeds now just one setting per group

The link on the first post (page 1) and the last page I updated a short while ago.
Any others on pages 2 thru 66 are broken. _________________ Satnav:

I've been using your excellent program for years, though I was a little late to the party, 2016 being when I jumped ship from TT to Garmin, congratulations on it, and many thank yous for it.
I thought that my Garmin had gone into semi-retirement but that was before VW decided to remove the option of POIs from their SatNavs.
So, back to updating the PGPSW databases and updating your software it is then.
The last time I looked into updating CSV to GPX, I was short for time, getting ready for a mini-break so, when I came across an error, I went back to my trusty old 2016 version but today, I have more time so here I am.
After downloading (and moving) the latest speed cams database, when I clicked Unzip PGPSW Camera Files, I realized that the downloaded version doesn't include the provisional PMobiles files. Is there a way to change the target of "Download Database"? Being ultra cautious, I'd rather be warned about those too. If not I can do what I just did and download manually. |

My latest V2, as highlighted a few posts up, has the option to download with or without pMobiles.
I thought the V1 was with or I would have had complaints as I know quite a few use them.
I'm back home Monday so I'll change the V1 version to do either as an option like the V2 _________________ Satnav:

Gym,
This is what I think may be happening.
When the Converter program takes you to the PGPSW download page, PGPSW will download the type of database that you had last time.
It gives you the option of manually picking a different type of database.
So try again and tick the box to include pMobiles.
(The Direction Converter program "does" have the option of choosing pMobiles or not).

I did wonder that myself so, after manually downloading with pMobiles, I went back to see if that happened and it didn't, it was the version without that was downloaded (again). |
