I own a Snooper Pantera which is a reasonable bit of kit and I update it on the Snooper website every couple of weeks.

Whilst driving down to Bordeaux yesterday, on the A10, the Pantera chirped in to life every time I approached an Orange motorway telephone point!

Some 'Dimwit' has flagged these as cameras, so I now found myself checking my speed for telephones!

The Pantera has a button to add camera locations, but not to delete them.

Is there a way round this problem, or am I missing something on Pocket GPS that will provide an alternative database?

If you have a smartphone, you are missing out on the PGPSW CamerAlert app, which of course uses the PGPSW database.

Thank you. I've just downloaded the app and updated the database. Excellent!

However, is it for the UK only, or does it work in France?

And our data is moderated and checked, so we'd hope that issues such as you describe with the Snooper won't happen.
