hi all
im new to all this i have just got a avic x1 but when i put a dvd in or satnav disc it is saying reading error what does this mean any advice would be grateful

I would guess it can't read the DVD. If it is all DVDs then probably a faulty unit. Are you using genuine factory made DVDs? |

| no they are copies even the sat disc is a copy i dont want to go and buy a sat disc if the thing is faulty i have found the hidden menu and found frmat what would happened if i formatted the unit |

Some DVD player don't like "copies"....
Try a genuine DVD to determine if it is the player or the discs...
