Not sure to be honest...

The instructions here http://www.mrhandsfree.com/media/598151/download_database_sheet_spy_v06_nl-fr-gb-ru.pdf say it uses a .mdb format file which when opening shows a plain text, but encoded, list of what I assume are locations.

E.g.: 48BF23003A5F6161

Now if someone can work out how the coordinates are converted to that format then we would be able to create some files for it...

I doubt it. It's unlikely that a product that is PURELY a speed camera warning system would want you to use a competitors data, so they won't make it easy.

The file format for their own database "download.mdb" seems to be a simple text file, but it appears to be encrypted.

E.g....

574C121124234624
47A42F00C8A47061
47A4F900C70D3441
47A60600CB942361
47A61600CB537D61
...
...
...

Interestingly, if that translates as one line per camera position then they reckon they have 6475 cameras in their database, compared with only 5890 in ours this week.

I wonder where all those ones we are missing are hiding!
Shocked

EDIT: Gah! Far too slow... beaten to it by MaFt!

The file I downloaded had nearly 10,000 locations in it? Although I did select both static and mobile!

We need Sallyann to come back and sort this. I bet it's some sort of Lat/Lon interpretation rather than encryption. The data is too consestent to be encrypted. 4 out of the 5 listed above show a remarkable consistency which encrypted data would not. So it's just a case of finding out what they do. It appears to be 8 groups of 2 hexadecimal characters.

In use, is there any indication of camera type and direction? If so, some of the chars must contain this data.
