Are you questioning my dB calculation, or wondering WTF I'm talking about?
A Ratio of 0.616595 in voltage amplitude is = 20 x Log 0.616595 =-4.2.....dB
A Ratio of 0.616595 in power amplitude is = 10 x Log 0.616595 =-2.1.....dB
Or have I been calculating dB gain and loss wrongly for the last 50 years
a ratio of 0.5 = -6 dB (for voltage) or -3dB (for power) (approximately) |

Got it now, but not a lot different actually!
That slider was there all the time I'd just never clicked on the button to show it, as you can just type a number straight in the box!
