Buying advice

I have been a long time user of tomtom about 7 years now...

I currently own a 540 Live but I am getting fed up with paying 55 quid a year for live services.

I have been looking at getting a Garmin 2585TV and was wondering if there is anything I should be aware of by purchasing a diffrent brand of sat nav, ie would I miss anything from my tomtom? - I like live services and Live traffic, also does the Garmin have IQ routes as I have found the tomtom has saved me hours in taking less busy routes at different times of the day. I compared this feature against google navigate and the TomTom routed me via different roads at particular times of the day whileas the Google Navigate just kept saying take the one route.

Should I get the Garmin?
