I try to install GPSAssist on my Ipaq 3970.
Besides som messages about overwriting files I recieve for file \windows\adoce30.dll and file windows\pimstore.dll following msg:
"The file is in use or in ROM, please close the application using the file..."
No other applications are running!
After installation (obv. without thos files), when starting GPSassist I receive message:
There is no application associated wit GPSassist...
Any idea?
I want to use gpsassist for navigation with several waypoints. Perhaps someone know's other software?
Thanks

This does happen sometimes. Try CheckPOInt which is available on our downloads page. |

Dave,
This is not realy a sollution for my problem isn't it?
What I am looking for is a soft able to drive me in sequence to several points, From A till Z via B, C etc...
I don't think checkpoint can do this?
Apart from that, no sollution for the installation of gpsassist? Still waiting for a reply of the vendor...
Regards,

I suspect this thread is so ancient as to be highly misleading.
If the original poster was talking about GPSAssist, he must have been using TomTom Navigator - probably Navigator 2.
GPSAssist version 1 had various compatibility problems. GPSAssist version 2, the current version, has been totally rewritten, and has none of the compatibility problems of version 1.
