Bought a live services card to update my free live services on my 750 Live.I had problem after applying the scratched no into TomTom Home (accepted no but subscription did not update. Total 4 emails Tomtom did not reply & eventually after phoning a couple of times plus me accessing my live services from the Go 750 it eventually updated to give me a further 12mths subscription. It looks as though the Fuel price update is another £47 ish & the premium cameras another subscription on top. I assumed that when I applied the Live Services update everything would be as IT was.I was aware that I had download the petrol prices from TomTom home for sometime now,but it looks like I will have to pay extra to do even this. I Have had 5 TomToms over the years But I think it is time to change to Garmin with their free lifetime map updates & free traffic. TomTom are extracting the urine with charging for everything they can

This page shows you what's included in TT Live Services. Searching TomTom, I'm guessing you are UK based as you're talking £s, Fuel Prices don't seem to be available (at all, never mind at a price!), and it looks like Mobile Cameras are included but whatever Premium Cameras are they cost extra. Having said that, don't you use the PGPSW Camera Database? _________________ Jock

I renewed my Live services last month for my 750 Live, and fuel prices were included. |

I've not quite worked out what's going on with the Fuel Prices service.
TT kept saying they were scrapping it in the UK and it certainly doesn't appear on any of the NAV3 models. But I'm still getting it on my Go940, 950 and XL.
And the weird thing is that it now seems more accurate than it ever was when it was being advertised.
I'm keeping quiet in case it disappears! _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
