I guess the road closure for the Olympics which have already started will affect all nab units not just TT.

I got caught out this morning I was in Covent Garden and wanted to go to Duke Street off Oxford Street in central London. TT normally routes down the Mall. The brain wasn't in working order this morning. I followed the route and boy did I get caught up in traffic took about 1 hour 20 to complete - its normally a 20 min trip.

The HD traffic took ages to do whatever it does and by that time I was in the traffic.

Just be aware in London you need to be thinking ahead of the nav unit, especially if you don't have HD traffic or its not connected to the TT server.

I am absolutely dreading the chasos which continues until the end of September.

So did HD traffic actually have the road closure?

Hi

No HD traffic did not have the Mall closed just the arrows indicating traffic was moving slowly which I already knew given I was sitting in it.

Roads which are closed until September could surely be added they only need to check with TFL, and even indicate routes where you cannot use certain lanes. Could they not put a icon (icon like you receive when in a area of average speed?) on the screen warning your in a area with restrictions.

No metter what comes from the mouths of those in Government its going to be a complete and utter nightmare. Already there is no car parking at Westfield Stafford until the end of September.
