Hi
As a migrating user from a TT ONE, I've bought a Via135 for my wife. Attempting to download the zipfile onto the unit takes some fettling as I had to remove the html files and txt files, then rezip the files before I could extract them on to the unit.
Now the icons for the camera's do not show up on the display. Unlike earlier versions using TT home, I cant see where the files are as the support webpage doesn't work that way.
Anybody into the Via130/135 managed to download and get this working.
Also note nearly everything is a $ sign, TESCO, ASDA, COOP are all dollar signs, doh!
Am I pleased with it, not so far, but it may be early days, but I need to get help in loading the camera download and to be able to set "WARN NEAR POI" which doesn't work as the pocketgps items are not in the POI list on the unit, but the support page says they are loaded on the Community POI on this device!
Grrrr

There is a Zip File especially for Nav3 Devices that already has 'unnecessary' files removed. You have to choose To download a Different Version, and choose TomTom (myTomTom Zip).
The other problems I'm not conversant with. _________________ Richard

Thanks for that, I guess that's my number one learning point with this migration.

I think you are misinterpreting the name - it is a system that facilitates the installation of "community" (ie. homebrew, or other-sourced, non-TomTom) content, not that it is shared to the whole "community" _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

Thanks, sorta getting there now, but it seems a tad more painful in additions, as you have to locate every item, be it voice, map colour, POI.
Once you do that adding them is a dream.
Am I pleased with it, yes, the voice system is great and so simple to use, but the wife loves it.
Now, I'm wondering how I back it up
Ah just read TomTom website where it says "You cant back it up!"
