I need to update sat nav so it shows speed cameras

My Quasqai was early model and it does not show speed cameras but shows all other POI's. I know data card is ok as it shows cameras in friends sat nav on later model. Dealer says I need to download software onto my data card to get it to work as can't change the sat nav system.

Any ideas on what I need to do to fix this?

I have no idea if Nissan have their own speed camera database, but here's the installation guide for the PocketGPSWorld camera database (i.e. from this site).
