Thanks.
Maybe this is a GO 1000, and the TomTom Route Planner issue?

Google Maps satellite view of Hall Road....definitely blocked.
http://tiny.cc/ft9jcw
And the map also shows it blocked.

It works correctly on my 910.
For your own immediate use, have you Blocked it with Map Correction? _________________ Richard

Yes, I have now blocked Hall Road both ways on my GO1000 which fixes the problem. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

GO520 with map 865 routes from Hall Road onto A47.
GO550 Live with map 885 routes from Hall Road onto A47.
I don't use MapShare, so both these maps are virgin territory, hence I can't understand how some other devices are doing it properly? _________________ Dennis

Maybe because other people who DO use MapShare have downloaded a correction that corrects the error? _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

However, it must be a quite RECENT MapShare correction....
I just checked the route on my Go 940 (on v9.430 and v885.4009 maps) - and it was WRONG (going via Hall Road). the Go was last connected to "Home" a week or two ago
I then connected to Home and got the latest MapShare updates and re-calculated the route, and it was now RIGHT (it went via Church Road)
Maybe that was Technik's correction of 5 hours ago or maybe that one was corroboration for an earlier one from someone else?
As the NAV3 models (Go1000 etc) still cannot get Mapshare updates from MyTomTom, that would explain the difference you're seeing between old and new models too. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

It would be useful if TT published a date. Good customer service - being proactive. Every quarter is a bit vague! |

But if they were a day late, think of the whingeing.
Does it really matter what day a minor update to a map is released? _________________ Drivelux |

My GO 1005 with v885 map takes the blocked road straight to the A47. I see the blockage at the end of Hall Road, I have done a turn restriction both into and out of Hall Road via MapShare so this should get verified very quickly!
