Just been offered this and downloaded it. No obvious changes so I assume it's just bug fixes... _________________ Device: GO 600, Live connected via iPhone 5.

The new(ish) navigate to favourites feature has always been optional and it is still there.
I quite like it as I do regular journeys to the same places and need traffic info more than I need navigation, but if you don't want this feature you don't have to use it. _________________ Device: GO 600, Live connected via iPhone 5.

According to TomTom it's only :-
Quote: | Version 11.031 (11.166 / 11.167)
(Start 20/25, Via 120/125, Via LIVE 120/125, GO LIVE 820/825, GO LIVE 1000/1005/1005 World)
* We have improved the explanation about the data you share with TomTom, and the settings required for you to give permission and share data from your device.

Hi,
the update to 11.031 removed the request at every startup to agree or disagree to data sharing again after you'd already answered that question.

Don't think so... that screen should only appear after a re-boot or connection to the PC,, and it should have been the same on both versions.
In fact, if you look at the "build" number they are the same version, but TT needed to sort the "v" numbering system out.
v11.030.858948.74 (2528, 10/2/2012) on 16th Feb was followed by
v11.031.860447.74 (2528, 13/2/2012) on the 19th _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Hi Andy,
the problem with the screen reappearing happened with many users' devices just being turned off and on again. They reported it on the official TomTom forum and from there it has been reported to TT's development team. Those users reported this problem had been solved by installing NC 11.031.
It was also the reason given to me from a TT staffer as main bug of the 11.030 software.
However you know as well as I know that sometimes the official announcements aren't the same as what had really been done .
Regards

An unfortunate simile under any circumstances. |

Are you not aware of the German occupation of the Netherlands during WW2? |

Yes, and I'm also aware that the Nazis did an enormous number of awful things in other countries too.
But does that mean one should never mention them?
Does that mean all those hundreds of films and TV shows that portray them in a comedic way or make them the butt of jokes, should never have been made?
Sorry if I upset you, but I don't see the problem myself apart from it being a pretty crap joke.
Can we move on? or move the discussion elsewhere? _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

A couple of times now in the car since this update my one has failed to auto power up. The charge light comes on but I have to press the power button to wake it up.
It powers down okay and I checked the power on setting was correct.

Ditto, Hummer.
The auto-power-on seems pretty hit and miss. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

At least you still have auto-power-on, it's gone totally AWOL on the lowlier TomTom Home models |
