Hello ,

I have a TT720 and have got somewhat confused as to where the ogg files should be - i.e. in the map folder or the sounds folder, could someone advise me please ?.

Secondly, having read through the forum I picked up the fact that the 'loquendo' folder should be deleted from the SD card (which I have now done) leaving an original in the internal root. Should any such rules apply to the ogg files being on the SD card ?. I assume not as they are different speed camera databases

And finally what files should I expect to see in the sound folder and should the folder be on both the internal and SD card in relation to causing conflict.

I have navcore version 8412 and I use a UK and Ireland map on the internal drive and UK & Western Euro (for Spain) on an SD card.

They can be put in either. It is know as Method 1 and 2. See Here.

As the Device will boot from the SD Card, if inserted, the OGG Files for the Europe Map need to be on the SD Card. For the UK Map these Files can be put on the internal memory.

Thanks Richard... I'd missed this question.

Sometimes I feel I'm the only "Method 2" evangelist. I'm still saying it's better! Very Happy
